PM Shri Atal Utkrisht Government Inter College Tapovan Chamoli is a border school, located 15 km from Block Jyotirmath and 100 meters from Rishikesh Niti National Highway. This school was upgraded as High School in the year 1981 and upgraded as Intermediate in the year 1989.
It was established as Adarsh Vidya in the year 2015, Atal Utkrisht Vidyalaya in the year 2019-20 and PM Shri Vidyalaya in the year 2022-23. At present, the number of students in the school is 320 and science classes and vocational classes are being conducted in the school in Inter Intermediate. The school has a large playground and a two-storey building equipped with all the facilities. Adequate classrooms, experimental rooms, library, computer room, virtual lab. - There are all other facilities here, including exhibition hall, tickering lab (meeting hall).
